Rösch glycerin suppositories are intended to facilitate easier bowel movements when a gentle effect is desired – for example, in cases of hemorrhoids, after surgeries, for bedridden patients, elderly people, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and children. The suppositories act through a physical hydrophilic mechanism – glycerin stimulates the rectal mucosa to secrete water, softening the stool, while the increasing volume triggers a natural defecation reflex.
Directions for use:
Always use exactly as described in the package leaflet or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist.
For infants and small children (from 28 days to 23 months): 1 suppository of 1 g.
For children from 2 years, adolescents, and adults: 1 suppository of 2 g.
For adults in more severe cases: 1 suppository of 3 g.
It is recommended to use the suppositories in the morning. Remove the suppository from the packaging and insert it into the rectum. The effect occurs within 15–60 minutes. After insertion, it is advisable to delay bowel movement slightly to allow the stool to soften sufficiently.
Composition. Glycerin, stearic acid, sodium carbonate.
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, in a dry place protected from direct sunlight, out of the reach of children.
