The new Orthomol production buildings are located on Elisabeth-Selbert-Straße, directly opposite the Orthomol administration building in Langenfeld, Germany. According to Dr. Schmidt, Orthomol had reached the limits of its production capacity at the former site. In the new 7,000-square-meter building, filling lines for liquid vials and capsules are already operating. “Additional systems will be transferred from the old hall,” says company spokeswoman Manuela Romahn. The planning process already accounted for the size of individual components, with production machines delivered in separate units and assembled on site. “The filling and packaging machines are unique,” Romahn adds. “They were custom-made specifically for Orthomol.”
